What are the requirements in the City for the use of fireworks?
Fireworks, for the most part, are illegal to "sell, expose, offer for sale, use, keep, discharge, or explode" within the City limits. The only type of "firework" allowed is a "sparkler on a wire or wood stick not exceeding 36 inches in length or 0.25 inch in outside diameter which does not contain magnesium chlorate or perchlorate." For more information, read the full Fireworks Ordinance (PDF).
