Waukesha Metro Transit operates from the Downtown Transit Center, located at 212 E St. Paul Avenue. It has several passenger amenities such as an indoor waiting area, vending machines selling passes and ride cards, a Customer Service Window, and public restrooms. In addition, each bus route has its own bus bay making it easier for you to find the route you want. The bus route will arrive and depart from its assigned bay (PDF) each trip.
The Lobby Hours for the Transit Center are:
Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 9:15 p.m.
Saturday: 8:15 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday: 9:15 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Each bus bay also has an electronic signs that display when the next bus will arrive in real time. Routes 1-9, 15 and 16, as well as the Wisconsin Coach Lines Route 901 operate from the Downtown Transit Center.
