Transit Center

Waukesha Metro Transit operates from the Downtown Transit Center, located at 212 E St. Paul Avenue. It has several passenger amenities such as an indoor waiting area, vending machines selling passes and ride cards, a Customer Service Window, and public restrooms. In addition, each bus route has its own bus bay making it easier for you to find the route you want. The bus route will arrive and depart from its assigned bay (PDF) each trip.

Hours

The Lobby Hours for the Transit Center are:

  • Monday-Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 9:15 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:15 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9:15 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Metro Transit Center

Each bus bay also has an electronic signs that display when the next bus will arrive in real time. Routes 1-9, 15 and 16, as well as the Wisconsin Coach Lines Route 901 operate from the Downtown Transit Center. Customer Service

All in person customer activities with Waukesha Metro Transit occur at the Customer Service Window at the Transit Center. These activities include:

  • Applying for employment with Metro
  • Lost and Found
  • Obtaining information about Metro's services in person
  • Obtaining or renewing a Reduced Fare or Metrolift ID

The hours for the Customer Service Window will be Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Parking Information

The Downtown Transit Center also includes a two floor parking ramp operated by the City of Waukesha Parking Services. For more information including discounted parking rates for transit commuters, review the Transit Center Parking.
