City Administrator

City Hall is currently closed to the public to prevent the spread of COVID-19. City Staff will be present during regular business hours in order to assist residents via phone or email.

The City Administrator is appointed by the Mayor with Common Council confirmation to an indefinite term of office and acts under the executive authority of the Mayor.


The position is responsible to the Common Council for the overall coordination and direction of the day-to-day operations of City government unless otherwise specified by Statute. The position is charged with:
  • Implementation of Council policies
  • Preparation of the annual budget for Common Council consideration
  • Providing the Council policy information and recommendations
  • Supervision of department directors and managers
