Donna Lexa Art Centers (DLAC) is a vibrant gathering place for artists of diverse abilities. Focusing on art as therapy, DLAC serves people with disabilities, chronic mental health diagnoses, veterans with military-related PTSD and elders with conditions such as dementia.
Donna Lexa Art Centers is located on the 2nd floor of First Baptist Church of Waukesha. The Victorian Gothic building, constructed of rock-faced Waukesha limestone, was completed in 1872. Parking lot and entrance is located off N. Grand Avenue (behind the church).
Experience the therapeutic benefits of the creative process by creating some art with DLAC in their Waukesha studio. Participate in free art activities all day, meet the amazing DLAC artists and view an exhibition of DLAC student work (some art will be available for purchase).
This location is kid-friendly.
