The Library was built in 1904 on this site and the original building is still a functioning part of the whole. There have been four major renovations and additions over the last 117 years, increasing the original Carnegie Library space to more than 70,000 square feet.
The Library will offer a behind-the-scenes tour at 11:00 am on Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday. Sites on the tour may include the staff materials acquisition area, the library's book sorter, and areas under construction as part of the first-floor renovation, depending on the safety of the areas.
This location is kid-friendly.
