Madison Street Reconstruction

Project Update: October 23, 2020

This week, the concrete curb and gutter was poured throughout the entire limits of the project.  Fortunately this work was completed prior to the rain we have had the past few days.

Next week, finish grading of the roadway will take place.  Weather permitting, the plan is then to install the binder course of the roadway asphalt pavement toward the end of next week.  Some minor utility work will also take place early next week.

Any questions, feel free to contact me.

Street Closure:

Just a reminder that the roadway is closed within the project limits and no thru traffic is allowed.  As with any work area, please use caution when traveling around the site and thank you for your patience.

Madison Street will be reconstructed from Prairie Song Drive to the western edge of the City Limits. Watermain and storm sewer be be constructed.  When the project is complete, the new street will look the same as Madison Street east of Prairie Song Drive.
