Meadowview Park Pedestrian Bridge Project

Project Update November 20, 2020

The contractor this week completed the pedestrian path connection pouring between the existing asphalt path, and the new concrete bridge abutments, and also began fine grading around the new path in preparation for final restoration.  Next week the Contractor will be completing topsoil placement around the bridge abutments and retaining walls, and finishing the remaining seeding and restoration in this area.  The bridge superstructure work will begin once the final wood material is delivered to the project site.

A portion of the east side of the pedestrian path within the park has been closed to all pedestrian traffic.  Please follow the signing/barricades regarding path closures.  Access is available to the west side of the path loop.  Do not enter anywhere near the current bridge excavation and avoid any areas that are blocked off with caution tape.

All the dates and times above are subject to change and are weather dependent.  I will update the group if anything changes from the above information.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the project, please feel free to contact me
