Alley 31 and Alley 32 Reconstruction

Project Update: July 24, 2020


As part of the City’s Alley Reconstruction program, Alley #32 (Bordered by:  Newhall, Scott, Wilson, Grand) and Alley #31 (Bordered by:  Wilson, Newhall, Grand, Garfield) will be reconstructed in 2020.  The contractor will be starting work on Alley #31 beginning on Wednesday July 29th.  The contractor will be starting with traffic control setup, erosion control installation, and sawcutting for removals along the existing alley.  Late in the week they will begin the removal of the existing alley pavement and adjacent drive approaches.

 

Traffic Control/Access

Beginning on Wednesday July 29th at 7:00am Alley 31 will be closed to through traffic and property access.  This includes both the North/South and East/West sections of Alley 31.  All vehicles will need to be removed from garages/parking areas adjacent to the alley prior to 7:00am on 7/29.
