    The City Attorney handles all of the City's legal work, including prosecuting municipal code violations and drafting ordinances.

  3. Prairie Home Cemetery

    Waukesha's full service cemetery offers traditional in ground, numerous cremation options, and green (natural) burial choices.

  4. City Administrator

    The position is responsible to the Common Council for the overall coordination and direction of the day-to-day operations of City government unless otherwise specified by Statute.

  5. Clerk / Treasurer

    The Clerk-Treasurer's Office strives to deliver the best possible service to the residents, Common Council, and to the staff of the City of Waukesha, while carrying out the duties and responsibilities required by Wisconsin State Statutes, City Ordinances and Common Council Resolutions.

  6. Community Development

    The mission of the department is to make sound decisions and provide services that maintain and foster sustainable neighborhoods, industrial and business development within the city.

  7. Finance

    The Finance Office provides financial and management information, control, and guidance to the Mayor, department administrators and the Common Council and is responsible for all budget and finance related functions of the city including purchasing and accounting operations.
