The City of Waukesha is
constructing improvements to E. Sunset Drive from Sunset View to Les Paul
Parkway. This project will widen the existing roadway from 2 lane to 4
lanes with medians and new lighting.
The contractor has finished
work in the median and has moved traffic to the outside lanes. The
Contractor will then work on areas to the outside to finish restoration and
prepare for final asphalt surface. The contractor intends to do some
milling and preparatory asphalt work in anticipation of final paving week of
May 29. During paving operations, traffic will move around based on the
location of paving. All paving is expected to be done in 2 days.
Some traffic movements will be restricted for some periods of time during the
paving operation. Every effort will be made to maintain all driveway
movements at all times.
The contractor is expecting to finish the remainder of the project by the end of May 2017. Your patience with this construction project is greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me with other comments, questions, or concerns.
